In technology of production of SAS CR-800 modificator there were applied innovative solutions in breaking down worn out tires to 300 microns for obtaining active spongy surface and surface active substances allowing to improve correlation of resin powder with bitumen.
Along with “KazDorNII” JSC RoK MTK in October 2009 produced arrangement of experimental area using SAS CR-800. Result – usage of modificator provided hydrophobic properties of asphalt concrete cover. When core sample collection in April 2010 there were no cracks on the asphalt concrete, was noticed large adhesion capacity of asphalt concrete.
Along with “KazDorNII” JSC RoK MTK in may-June 2010 arranged test side using SAS CR-800 mofidicator in Karaganda city, Respublika prospect, 2.2 km and on Krivoguz street 2 km, in Astana city, Abai street 800m. Result – application of SAS CR-800 improves indices of physical chemical properties of polymer asphalt concrete of upper layer in comparison with traditional contents. Specifically: in polymer asphalt concrete of B type using РБВ:
– water saturation lower than 16
-density when compressed under temperature of 50C after water saturation higher for 17%
-density in case of cracking under temperature 0C higher to 14%
– density when transferred, higher to 20%

In ЩМА 10 using РБВ:
– water saturation lower than 20 %;
– density when compressed under temperature of 50C after water saturation higher for 22 %;
– density when transferred, higher to 36 %.
